Where is Face Paint Shop Australia?

How long does it take to ship my order?

For Express orders completed prior to 1pm AEDT, we'll dispatch same day (Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays).

We aim to dispatch all other orders ASAP, usually within 1-2 business days after payment is received.

When will my order arrive?

Delivery times can vary significantly. 

For current delivery guidelines and timeframes, please check the Auspost website HERE - this includes orders sent within Australia and Internationally.

COVID-19 restrictions and the increased demand on Auspost services are currently affecting delivery times. 

Please allow plenty of time for your delivery to arrive AND select Express if you require your order to be delivered by a particular date. 

However, under the current circumstances - we DO NOT guarantee your delivery will be on time, regardless of the shipping method selected. Nonetheless, Express shipping is significantly faster!

What does Priority Express mean?

Your parcel will be clearly labelled as EXPRESS.

Our packing pixies prepare our Express orders as their first priority - ie. if your order is marked as Express, it jumps the queue.

You can be assured we'll do our very best to make sure your Express order goes in that day's mailbag (our daily deadline is 1pm AEDT)

However, this DOES NOT mean your parcel will be delivered overnight or even within 2-3 business days (as much as we'd like to make it happen!). One day, maybe we'll get that magical delivery unicorn we've been wishing for, but until then... we use a third party carrier (Auspost). This means, from the moment we lodge your parcel at our local post office, we have no way of controlling what happens next.

Of course, if your order isn't delivered to you in a reasonable time-frame, we'll be here to help anyway we can.

And if you need to return your order because it doesn't arrive in time, we'll refund you - no questions asked.

Note: Flammable liquids cannot be sent via air and will travel by road. Please read all product descriptions carefully before placing your order.

When does an order qualify for free shipping?

An order qualifies for free delivery when the order total is equal to or greater than $100 AUD (before shipping costs). The delivery address must be within Australia. Free delivery is not available for international orders.

Is free shipping Express or Regular?

Free shipping = regular parcel post.

If you're in WA, NT, or Tassie... or remote anywhere - you may wish to consider Express.

Regular post from the east coast of NSW can take more than 2 weeks (even at the best of times).

How do I track my order?

We will email tracking details when your order has been dispatched. Please ensure your contact details are accurate. If you include your mobile number, Australia Post will send your tracking updates via SMS.

You can also open our help desk (using the helpdesk button located on the bottom right side of your screen).

1. You'll be prompted to enter your order number and email address

2. If your order has been shipped, you'll be given a tracking number - click on it

3. You'll be redirected to the Auspost tracking page for the latest update on your special delivery

If you don't have your order number handy, you can log in to your store account and you'll find your order and tracking information there.

Alternatively, you can check your order and tracking information at any time by referring to your confirmation email, which includes a clickable link (ie. your tracking number) > this will redirect you to an order status and tracking page.

Can I shop in store?

We'd love to meet you in person! But you'll need to make an appointment, first. We're doing our best to keep our team safe and avoid casual contacts as much as possible.

This means we are closed to the public (walk-ins) until further notice.

Please use our help desk button on the bottom right of your screen to confirm a time with us.

If possible, we recommend you brownse our online shop and place your order first. Some items (eg. stencils) are not on display and therefore cannot be browsed in store.

If making an order before you visit, we recommend you choose to pay later (in store). This means we can easily update your order if you change your mind about anything.

Can I order online and pick up in store?

Yes, you can. We'll send you an email when ready and ask that you confirm a time to collect so we can ensure that we are open and here for you. We can meet you at the door to minimise any contact with staff and/or other guests.

Can I add something to an order before it ships?
Yes you can. Maybe...

Please get in touch via our chat/help button at the bottom of this screen - we'll need to check the order hasn't already been packed before we can approve any last minute additions.

If it's not too late (ie. if we haven't packed it already), we'll do our best to accommodate your request. 

However, our packing pixies are well-known for their speedy response times, which means changes and additions aren't always possible.

Can I add delivery instructions?
No. Other than the standard delivery details (ie. name, business name, delivery address), we are unable to add any other details to your Auspost label. This is due to the high volume of orders we process. 

Your label will be created by automated software and unforrtunately this means any additional information / comments / delivery instructions will not be included on the parcel label.

Do you deliver outside of Australia?

Of course - we send world-wide.

However COVID-19 has affected delivery times for some countries, and there may be significant delays as a result of restrictions and the limited availability of aircraft en route.

In addition, our carrier (Australia Post) isn't accepting parcels for some destinations (this is subject to change).

So please be aware of this constantly evolving situation before placing an order.

Of course, if you place an order and we are anable to ship your order for any reason, we will refund you.

Shipping rates are determined by region and calculated at the check-out.

We offer Parcel Express with Insurance (by Auspost) for all international deliveries. Tracking is provided by Australia Post.

Goods sent to international addresses are free from the Australian Goods and Services Tax.

Since the world is a big place, delivery times can vary significantly.

Note: your order will be considered an import and may be inspected by your local importing authority (customs), which can cause unexpected delays.

There may also be additional import duties and/or taxes payable in your country or region.

It is the responsibility of the recipient (ie YOU) to be aware of the import conditions of your delivery - including but not limited to prohibitions, restrictions, limitations, etc and to find out what documents may be required.

Face Paint Shop Australia does NOT collect taxes on behalf of your country/region and we can not be held liable for any import taxes or duties you may be required to pay in addition to the agreed purchase price.

If your order is returned to us, for any reason (unopened, undamaged, and in it's original packaging) - we may consider a refund, less any shipping and delivery fees. 

Damaged items or items that are not re-saleable will not be refunded.
